Important Instruction

  • This product is not intended for use by children. Keep the product out of the reach of children and pets. Extra caution is necessary when using this appliance near children.

  • Do not leave the product unattended while it is in use. Always unplug the product from the electrical outlet when not in use.
  • Do not immerse the Base, Power Cord, or Plug of this product in or expose the Power Cord or Plug to water or other liquids.
  • Do not place in Dishwasher or use abrasive sponges or cloths to clean the appliance.
  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Use protective oven mitts or gloves when removing the Lid
  • Take proper precautions to prevent burns, fire, personal or property damage as this appliance generates heat and steam during use.
  • Do not use attachments not recommended or sold by the product manufacturer.
  • Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, in a heated oven, or other heated surfaces.
  • Use extreme caution when moving an appliance containing hot food, water, or other liquids.
  • Use the product in a well-ventilated area. Keep at least 4-6 inches of space on all sides of the product to allow adequate air circulation.
  • Keep the product away from curtains, wall coverings, clothing, dishtowels, or other flammable materials.
  • Do not plug or unplug the product from the electrical outlet with a wet hand.
  • This product is intended solely for non-commercial, non-industrial, household use in cooking of food for human consumption; do not use the product outdoors or for any other purpose.
  • Do not operate the product empty.
  • Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter where it may be tripped over or pulled. Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces.
  • Do not operate the product if it has a damaged or cut Power Cord or plug, if wires are exposed, if it malfunctions, if it is dropped or damaged, or if the Motor Housing is dropped in or exposed to water. This product has no user-serviceable parts.

CAKE POPS WILL BE VERY HOT. USE A NON-METAL SPOON TO CAREFULLY REMOVE THEM

  • Always plug cord into wall outlet before operation. There is no on or off switch. To turn off, remove plug from wall outlet. Allow unit to cool before storing.
  • A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. An extension cord is not recommended for use with this product, but if one must be used:
  • The marked electrical rating must be at least as great as that of the product;
  • If the product is of a 3-prong grounding type, the extension cord must be a
    grounding-type 3-wire cord.
  • Arrange the extension cord so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped over or pulled.

WARNING: This product is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other blade) to reduce the risk of electrical shock. This is a safety feature. The plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If you are unable to insert the plug into the electrical outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use the plug with an extension cord unless you can fully insert the plug into the extension cord. Do not alter the plug. Do not attempt to defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug.

HOW TO USE

  • Before first use, wipe down all surfaces with a damp cloth and dry.
  • Find a dry, suitable, level surface near an electrical outlet.
  • The Nonstick Cooking Surface should be lightly coated with a small amount of vegetable oil. Vegetable oil can be applied with a paper towel or with a nonstick oil spray. The oil will help protect the nonstick quality of the cooking surface. *This should be done periodically to maintain the nonstick quality.
  • Preheat the appliance by closing the Lid and plugging into an electrical outlet.
  • When the power is on, the Red Power Light will come on. The Green Ready Light will stay off while the appliance is preheating.
  • The appliance should preheat for a minimum of 3 minutes. The Green Ready Light will turn on when the appliance is ready to cook.
  • While the appliance is preheating, you may prepare the ingredients for your Cake Pops.
  • Raise the Lid using an oven mitt or pot holder to prevent accidental burns.
  • Fill each of the twelve pastry wells in the Nonstick Cooking Surface with mixture.
  • Close the Lid using a pot holder or oven mitt. Make sure Lid is locked.
  • The cooking time will range between 4-6, depending on the type of pastries being cooked and personal taste.
  • Once the Cake Pops have completed cooking, raise the Lid with a pot holder or oven mitt. Remove the pastries from the Nonstick Cooking Surface with a plastic or wooden spoon. DO NOT use metal utensils, as they may scratch and damage the Nonstick Cooking Surface.
  • If cooking more than one batch of Cake Pops in a session, after removal of the first batch, lower the Lid to maintain heat until ready to cook the next batch.
  • As soon as you are finished cooking, unplug appliance and allow it to cool.
  • Once the appliance is cool, following directions in Cleaning and Maintenance section to clean your Cake Pop Maker.

HELPFUL TIPS
NEVER leave the unit unattended while operating.

Smoking
During first use, you may notice slight smoking or a slight odor; this is normal with most new appliances. The smoking and odor is caused by the residues burning off the Nonstick Cooking Surface and the Heating Element. Allow the appliance to preheat until smoke and odor no longer exists.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

Please take care of your Cake Pop Maker by following these simple instructions and precautions. Cleaning is a snap.

  • Disconnect from the electrical outlet by unplugging the appliance.
  • Make sure the appliance is cool before cleaning.
  • Clean the upper and lower Nonstick Cooking Surface with a damp, non-abrasive cloth and dry.
  • Wipe the exterior with a damp, non-abrasive cloth and dry.

Vanilla Cake Pops

  • ¾ cup All-Purpose Flour
  • ½ tsp. Baking Powder
  • ¼ tsp. Salt
  • ¼ Cup Butter, Softened
  • ½ Cup Sugar
  • 1 Eggs
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ Cup Milk
  • White Chocolate Wafers for Glazing

Preheat the Cake Pop Maker as directed. Melt butter and set aside. In small bowl, whisk flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside. In a large bowl, beat together sugar, eggs, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Add butter and beat for 2 more min. Beat in Vanilla and lemon extract. Add Flour mixture and beat until blended. Fill each well with 1 Tbsp. of batter and cook 4-5 min. or until golden. Open lid with a pot holder or oven mitt. Remove each cake with a wooden or plastic spoon. Let cool and glaze or coat as desired.

Lemon Cake Pops

  • ½ Cup Butter
  • ¾ Cup All-Purpose Flour
  • ½ tsp. Baking Powder
  • ¼ tsp. Salt
  • ½ Cup Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Lemon zest
  • 2 tsp. Lemon Juice
  • ½ tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ tsp. Lemon Extract

Preheat the Cake Pop Maker as directed. Mix dry ingredients. Whisk butter and sugar, in separate bowl, until creamy. Add dry ingredients and milk to butter mixture and whisk. Add 1 Tbsp of batter into pastry wells. Open Lid with a pot holder or oven mitt. Remove each donut with wooden or plastic spoon. Place on plate and serve. Close lid and bake for 5 min. or until golden brown. Open lid with a pot holder or oven mitt. Remove each cake pop with a wooden or plastic spoon. Let cool. Melt White Chocolate and Glaze each Cake Pop, you may also want to add sprinkles.

Cinnamon Sugar Donut Holes

  • 1 ½ Cups Flour
  • 1 tsp. Baking Soda
  • ½ Cup Butter, softened
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Cup Sugar + ½ Cup for Dusting
  • 1 Tbsp. Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Tbsp. Lemon Extract
  • ½ Cup Milk
  • ½ Cup Cinnamon, for Dusting

Preheat the Cake Pop Maker as directed. Fill large bowl or bag with cinnamon and sugar and set aside .Mix together sugar and butter. Then beat in eggs, mix thoroughly. Add in Milk and Extracts. Fold in Flour and baking soda. Do not over mix. Carefully pour into pastry wells. Close the Lid and cook for 4-6 minutes until light golden brown in color. Open Lid with a pot holder or oven mitt. Remove each donut with wooden or plastic spoon. Immediately dump Donuts into Sugar and Cinnamon bag/bowl and toss to evenly coat. Enjoy.

Pancake Bites

  • 1 ½ Cup Flour
  • 3 ½ tsp. Baking Powder
  • ¾ tsp. Salt
  • 1 Tsp. Sugar
  • 1 Cup Milk, Plus 1 Tbsp.
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • 3 Tbsp. Butter, melted
  • 1 Large Egg White
  • ½ Cup Mini Chocolate Chips* (Optional)

*You can enjoy these anyway you like, with Chocolate, blueberries, strawberries, etc. Makes 2 Dozen Preheat the Cake Pop Maker as directed. In bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Add Milk, 1 whole egg, Vanilla Extract and butter. Whisk until smooth. Set aside Whisk egg white in separate bowl till smooth peaks form. Add to batter. Add Chocolate Chips or Blueberries, etc. (If using) Carefully pour into pastry wells. Close the Lid and cook for 4-6 minutes until light golden brown in color. Open Lid with a pot holder or oven mitt. Remove each donut with wooden or plastic spoon. Let cool. Enjoy.
